Wild ARMS(anime)

Yet again when it comes to doing a review of an anime I’m tired and feel like ‘sweeping’ but that is not an option in this time of need. The people must be told what animes to watch! So instead of doing a great anime I’ll just do the same thing I did last time and review a semi-good one half-assedly…but it is good don’t get me wrong it’s just in comparison to some stuff it’s mere chicken fodder, but it certainly is worth a view. But anyway lets get this show on the roooooooooooad!

For those that have played the game (and liked it) watch it for those that don’t know about wild arms at all watch it anyway. I like to describe wild arms as a mix of final fantasy an wild west films in short this means that its about a bunch of cowboys (and cowgirls for that matter )who call them selves “drifters” who go around with guns called ARMS and have magical powers. If you haven’t played the games and you are a fan of final fantasy, these games will almost defiantly please your very soul (wild arms 3 in particular is the best one in my esteemed opinion)Anyway onto the anime. the anime follows the same principles as the game. There are drifters and it is set in a wild west settings as well. While I say this though I would also recommend watching all the episodes separately as while there is a main plot each episode seems to be a story all of its own (this is unlike the game.) The main character is Sheyenne Rainstorm who is looking for his body because his soul was put into a 10 year old body(cause that’s what happens in Japan?) when he is actually in his mid 20s.Dr. Kiel Aronnax is a scientist who basically helps Sheyenne,and along with various other characters they all go on an adventure made up of mini adventures.for the wild arms fan I strongly suggest watching it(it has a few cameos from the games) and for everyone else it’s worth a try at least.

Wow…that was particularly half assed…maybe it’s not such a good anime if it can’t bring out the writer in me like calculators or Jesus. Oh well life she goes on. I might re-do the review of the Wild ARMS series(video game) at some point though I don’t feel I’ve done it justice! Anyway until next time HAPPY VIEWING!

Comic Party

Hmm well I guess it is time that I mention that I love Japan on this blog. I do everything japanese manga anime sushi etc. And well considering I did a review of darkplace I feel I should also do a review of an anime. The first one I’ve decided to do is by no means my favourite anime I just happened to like it alot. Also it might be kinda short since I’m tired. Anyway without further adieu…

Ok now for the clever people who will look up comic party on wiki or something do not be discouraged (or encouraged) in the fact that this was originally a hentai(animated porn which I’ll probably end up talking about in a later post) game,this anime has no hentai none at all not a tit or clit in sight.However it can be fairly ecchi ( perverted)  but its nothing if you have watched some of those love hinaesque animes.

This anime is funnily enough about comics doujin(fan comics) to be more accurate,it revolves around kazuki sendou who is draged along to a comic convention by his “brother” tashi(one of my favourite characters in an anime as a side note) at this convention kazuki enjoys the atmosphere and starts thinking about making his own fancomic, all the while taishi pushing him to do it with loud entrances and shouting and well what one would deem annoying. In the end kazuki starts making his comics and the rest of the series is about his challenges along the way including trying to convince his best friend that fancomics are an art form that come from the creators heart (the usual anime bullshit),and dealing the clumsy stupid dimwitted yet adorable chisa who photocopies and binds his fancomics

all in all comic party is a hilarious adventure full of…well comics and fun with a dab of party and definitely worth a try EVEN in English that’s how good it is you can watch it in English and still enjoy it! For first time viewers of anime I would say this isn’t the best place to start maybe something like fruits basket or naruto would be better but for all those die-hard anime watching fans out there comic party is a must and while I am yet to even see a copy of the original game for sale I’d say if you like the hentai game you won’t mind the lack of nudity and will be able to watch it for its hilarity.
